The Pen to Print Michael Feld Creative Writing Competition for Young People

The Writing Competition for young people is open for entries and we have an extra prize this year a set of books for the winners’ school! Don't miss this great opportunity to win a great prize for yourself and your school! The closing date for entries is 16 April 2018, and entries can be sent to libraries@lbbd.gov.uk or dropped off at any library in Barking and Dagenham.

Earlier this week, a constituent contacted Jon about a fantastic opportunity for young students to express themselves and tap into their creativity by entering a writing competition entitled the Agboola Award for Creative Writing in Schools. This award encourages students to engage in the world of story-telling and allows them a chance to be inspired both by the world around them, and their own personal imaginations.
