This month (August 2019) the Barking and Dagenham Council for Voluntary Service has launched a system which hopes to create a publicly accessible database of all not-for-profit organisations in the borough which will promote volunteering and participation opportunities across sectors.

As part of the recent Borough of Culture award, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan also granted £24 million to support projects that promote regeneration across the city.

Participatory City Foundation have secured £850,000 from the Mayor to invest in a 3,000 square meter community workshop that will be situated at Dagenham East joining the future film studio on the old Sanofi Aventis site.

Every One Every Day is the very pinnacle of participatory innovation, this project will see our community change for the better, forever. The Participatory City Foundation with the support of the Big Lottery Fund and other organisations has outlined a five year transformative programme for Barking and Dagenham.

The revolutionary £6.4m new project called Every One Every Day, is a vision for a sustainable community with a network of 25,000 people, all collaborating together.
