Last Friday Google held a workshop in Dagenham to help promote local business and train people how best to expand their businesses on the internet. Over 40 representatives from local businesses across Dagenham and Rainham came to the event to take advantage of the free advice and help on offer from Google’s experts.

The campaign against the prison is well underway, Jon Cruddas’s campaign team have been working hard to ensure that the proposals have not been slipped in through the back door.

On 5th October 2012 Jon Cruddas MP for Dagenham and Rainham spoke at the 'Ron Todd Memorial Lecture'. The focus of the lecture was Young People: Crime, Peace and Politics. 

Ronald Todd was the general secretary of the Transport and General Workers' Union (TGWU) from 1985 until 1992, then the largest general trade union in the UK. Todd also gained a reputation for his commitment to human rights and his work on nuclear disarmament.
