The total number of unemployed claimants in Dagenham and Rainham constituency in June 2019 was 2,470. This represents a rate of 4.5% of the economically active population aged 16-64. The equivalent UK claimant rate was 3.6%. The UK unemployment rate, which includes people not claiming benefits and is estimated from survey data, was 3.8% in March to May 2019.

The equivalent UK claimant rate was 3.5%. The UK unemployment rate, which includes people not claiming benefits and is estimated from survey data, was 3.8% in January to March 2019.

The total number of unemployed claimants in Dagenham and Rainham constituency in March 2019 was 2,235. This represents a rate of 4.1% of the economically active population aged 16-64. The equivalent UK claimant rate was 3.4%. The UK unemployment rate, which includes people not claiming benefits and is estimated from survey data, was 3.9% in December 2018 to February 2019.

The total number of unemployed claimants in Dagenham and Rainham constituency in November 2018 was 1,995.This represents a rate of 3.6% of the economically active population aged 16-64. The equivalent UK claimant rate was 3.0%. 

The number of claimants in Dagenham and Rainham constituency is 435 higher than November 2017 and 65 higher than October 2018. There were 375 claimants aged 18-24 in November 2018, 55 higher than November 2017.
