Jon Cruddas MP said: “the work of the Rainham Foodbank and Pastor Peter goes beyond simply providing food parcels for those in need. The staff and volunteers collaborate with partner organisations to help provide local people with the support and advice they need.
“Foodbanks shouldn’t exist in 21st Century Britain but as energy prices soar and inflation spirals out of control, the Tories’ cost of living crisis will mean that sadly many more people will rely on services such as the Rainham Foodbank.”
