The Greater London Council and TfL are currently considering a new bridge linking Rainham, near Marsh Way to Belvedere. The suggested crossing would operate on a toll system similar to that of the Dartford Crossing.
As your Member of Parliament I am writing and asking you to raise your concerns, asLondon Riverside (BID) Ltd have confirmed that ?without doubt this proposal will have a major impact on property (land & rental values) and traffic congestion'.

There will also be a consultation roadshow event taking place on Wednesday 30th July 1.00pm till 7.00pm at CEME, Marsh Way, Rainham, Essex RM13 8EU.
Opportunities to provide a response to the plans via the link above are open till the 12th September. As your local MP, I will be contacting London Riverside Ltd and TfL to find out the implications of the proposal. I would also urge local residents to attend the meeting on the 30th July to find out more and air your views.
