An organisation called Oxbridge Applications is currently promoting their fantastic Access Scheme – the scheme is designed to provide state school students with exceptional opportunities to improve their chances of attending England's most prestigious Universities, Oxford and Cambridge. The program provides 120 state school students scholarship assistance from Oxbridge graduates every year.
The access scheme puts state school candidates in contact with Oxbridge-graduates to support them in every aspect of the application:
- Personal Statement drafting: students will work with Oxbridge-graduates on each draft and revision of their Personal Statement to ensure their application reflects their interest and potential for the subject to which they choose to apply
- Attendance on our Admissions Test and Interview Preparation Courses: Access Scheme students will attend these public events, receiving subject-specific tutorials, mock interviews, and admissions test workshops
- Admissions test feedback: students will have access to admissions tests required for their course and receive personalised feedback from admissions test experts
Throughout the scheme, students will have on-going email and telephone support from our dedicated Oxbridge consultants in the Oxbridge Applications offices.
The competitive application process in many cases makes the dream of attending Oxbridge unattainable. Students often have the academic ability to attend Oxford or Cambridge but are unaware of how to properly promote and set themselves apart. This is where the Access Scheme comes in. The application form can be downloaded by clicking HERE

Jon Cruddas MP for Dagenham and Rainham said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for students from state schools to increase their chances of being accepted into Oxbridge. We have some exceptional students across Dagenham and Rainham and I strongly urge interested students and parents to download the form online and apply. The value of a quality education cannot be overstated and this is the perfect chance for students."
