This week, Jon Cruddas MP was contacted by Peabody at Dagenham. Peabody has recently purchased the former Stamping Plant, which has played a significant part in Dagenham's proud industrial heritage, providing jobs and a sense of belonging for generations.

Since purchasing the 45-acre site, Peabody now wants to work with the residents of Dagenham and Rainham to create a new neighbourhood on the site. They want a site that embraces the future of Dagenham, provides new homes, a public park, community spaces, employment opportunities and celebrates the diversity of the local community.

There are several ways in which you can help shape the plans for this new site. You can visit Peabody's website at Home | Peabody at Dagenham. Here you can have your say about the upcoming project and Peabody's vision for the new site.

There will also be two webinars in which residents can meet the project team and have the opportunity to ask questions. The webinars will take place on Tuesday 6th April from 6-7:30pm and again on Thursday 8th April from 6-7:30pm. To sign up for the webinars, please click the following link.

Jon Cruddas MP: "I welcome the news for a new neighbourhood on the old Dagenham Stamping Plant site. This is a great opportunity to provide new homes and community spaces for local residents. I encourage residents to have their say on the upcoming project and Peabody's vision for the new site."
