Jon Cruddas MP was recently contact by many concerned residents who were struggling to obtain “Free School Vouchers” for the upcoming school holidays. After further investigation, it transpires that due to further Government Cuts, Free School Vouchers have now been axed, not only in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, but nationwide.
The Police Grant for 2022/23 promises an overall increase of £1.1 billion from last year’s settlement but Jon Cruddas MP and Barking and Dagenham’s Lead Member for Enforcement and Community Safety, Councillor Margaret Mullane, say this offers very little for local communities.
