Dagenham RUFC Raise Funds After Equipment Vandalised

Over the weekend Dagenham Rugby Club was targeted by vandals who set fire to the storage container that housed all of the training and pitch equipment for the team. Unfortunately, there was very little salvaged. Equipment lost included scrum machines, tackle bags, post protectors etc.

Dagenham RUFC is an amateur club and have started a ?go fund me' page for donations to replace items by the start of the new season.

Jon Cruddas MP said: "I was sad to hear about the incident over the weekend, the club does a lot for the community and works with local schools. I hope that the community get behind the fundraiser and give what they can to get this valuable community asset up and running again in time for the new season."

The ?go fund me' page is here: https://www.gofundme.com/dagenham-rufc-new-equipment-fund

The club is also entering every company donation of over £25 into a raffle ? the winner will have their company logo printed on some of the equipment.
