Havering Council have recently released their Draft Commission Plan for Education Provision 2019-2023 which has now gone to public consultation. The draft plan sets out how Havering Council seeks to ensure there is sufficient capacity to meet demand for early years, primary, secondary post-16, special school and alternative provision places across the borough.

The draft plan contains information on the current pattern and forecasts of provisions across the borough; and the Council’s policy on school organisation and expansion plans to meet the need for additional places in area of growth in the borough.

Havering Council are keen to hear from parents and carers, resident’s, education providers and stakeholders and any other interested parties on the draft plan.

Alternatively, pick up a questionnaire from the Public Advice & Service Centre in the Liberty Mall Romford and any borough library or children’s centre. Complete it and return to any of the places mentioned above.

The public consultation will run between 10 September 2018 and 5 November 2018.
