Throughout my time as the MP I have consistently fought for our local NHS but over the years government cuts have resulted in the dramatic loss of services in Havering. The Mardyke surgery was closed and never replaced, services at Rainham and South Hornchurch have been reduced, the Mungo Park GP closed leaving over 3,000 residents having to travel further afield for appointments and now reports that the Spring Farm GP surgery in Upminster Road North is to close in the Spring.
The reduction of services has left Queen's Hospital under increasing pressure and enough is enough. I'm calling on NHS England and the government to deliver additional health facilities and services in Havering.
