Barking and Dagenham Together for St. George?s Day

To mark St. George's Day this year the Barking and Dagenham Council for Voluntary Services have teamed up with the Council to co-fund events and activities across the borough that bring communities together to celebrate the patron saint of England.

The ?Barking and Dagenham Together for St. George's Day Grant Programme' is part of a new series of community funding opportunities made available to organisations who promote cohesion and equality.

Grants are available for events such as tea parties, community lunches, street parties, quiz nights etc. that are organised between Monday 15th and Tuesday 30th April 2019 to mark St. George's Day.

All the projects will be part of the Barking and Dagenham #ThisIsMe campaign.

The deadline for project proposals is Friday 19th April.
