Jon Cruddas has welcomed the decision of the Government to refuse permission for a 8,000 seat mega church in Rainham.
The Kingsway International Christian Centre had appealed against the decision refuse planning permission for an auditorium and place of worship at the Beam Reach 5 Business Park in Rainham. Labour Minister, John Denham upheld the local decision and delighted local campaigners by respecting our views.
Jon Cruddas said, "I'm delighted the government has respected the outcome of the local planning inquiry into this development. I wish the Church well and trust they can find a location that has both the support of the local community and the right transport links they need."
